Career summary

Elizabeth graduated from the University of Tasmania in 2000 with Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Arts (Psychology)  She was admitted to practice as a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Tasmania in 2001. Elizabeth became a principal of the firm in 2010.

Elizabeth commenced practicing in Burnie, on the north west coast of Tasmania where she worked primarily in the areas of Commercial Law, Wills and Estates and Family Law.  She moved to Melbourne with her partner in 2007 and joined Williams Winter at that time.

At Williams Winter, Elizabeth leads the commercial team.  Her work encompasses retail and commercial leasing, the purchase and sale of businesses, partnerships, shareholders agreements, trusts, franchising and various other business transactions and arrangements.  She has significant expertise in the drafting of complex loan agreements including installment warrants.

Elizabeth also practices in fields of planning and licensing, both in relation to liquor licensing and gaming matters.  She works closely with the RSL of Victoria in these areas.
